Mt. Jomolhari (7300m) reigns in white glory at the Northeren end of the valley, its glacial waters plunging through deep gorges to form the Pa Chu (Paro River). If weather is kind, you can have a glimpse of this sacred mountain. The Paro vaelly is one the Kingdom’s most fertile valleys, producing the bulk of Bhutan’s famous red rice from its terraced fields.
